Very friendly bartender and cheap drinks. Stopped here with some friends just looking for a place we had never been before. Awesome place and we all agreed we would be back!
I saw the Friday $5 7am breakfast after having a nice burger/beer lunch so I decided I would try the breakfast. Once a gain a different server but just as friendly and inviting to the outsider like my first visit, definitely not one of those bars that that make you feel uncomfortable if your not a regular. Just like lunch they give you a breakfast stamp card with the 8 breakfast free. The Friday breakfasts change and Father's Day is steak and eggs so I'm told and regulary it's what they decide the breakfast will be because there is no breakfast menu, you get what they give you on any given Friday. My visit was sausage links, potatoes, eggs and toast. I had a bloody/beer chaser with two olives/small piece of a beef stick, nothing special, I only ordered it after watching someone order it because I usually have them with breakfast. The food came hot with perfect sunny side up eggs, generic white toast, greasy fried potatoes and real sausage links. For my first dive bar breakfast it was all real cooked food comparable to a greasy spoon restaurant with super friendly/staff and not that's it's only $5, it's a cheers like friendly place for outsiders. Even though it's a fellow at my job hang out which they didn't know that I will do the stop by breakfast thing once in a while.
Friendly neighborhood bar with bar food. Cleaner than "dive bars," and so really I would call it a traditional Milwaukee neighborhood bar rather than a dive bar. It's quiet and pleasant during the day, maybe it's more active weekends but I dropped in to watch a baseball game and didn't regret it.

Just came across this bar. I love the retro style!! I can't recall being in a bar with carpet. The bartender is super friendly and the atmosphere is quiet enough that you can have a drink and talk to your friends. And definitely "spin the wheel!"
